Changing Your Details

Once you’ve logged-in, you can carry-out online most actions relating to your account. This includes amending your telephone and email contact details; changing your address and making payments from / to your nominated bank account. However, for the following actions you will need to write to us, or send us a completed form (all forms are available in the forms section:

Action	Method of notification
Amending your details:
Change the name of an account holder	Send us a completed Change of Personal Data form.
Change your nominated bank account	Send us a completed Bank Account Details form.
Authorise a third party	Send us a completed Third Party Authorisation form.
Authorise or change your SIPP Manager	Send us a completed SIPP Manager form. Your SIPP Trustee and administrator will also need to to sign this form.
Please note: if you hold a Dealing and/or Shares ISA and a SIPP Dealing account, to authorise a third party you must complete both a Third Party form and a SIPP Manager form.
Change the Lead Investor of an Investment Club	Send us a completed Change of Lead Investor form
Notify changes to your Investment club membership	Send us a completed Change of Investment Club Membership form.

Transferring or closing an account:
Transfer your account	Send us a completed Transfer Authority
Close your account	Send us a completed Account Closure form. Please note: where there is no longer any cash or stock in your account, you may authorise us to close it by sending a secure message or by calling us.

Setting up a new account:
Open a SIPP Dealing account	Send us a completed SIPP Dealing application.
Open a joint account	Send us a completed Joint account application.
Open an Investment Club account	Send us a completed Investment Club account application
Open a Company Dealing account	Send us a completed Company Dealing application
Open a Child Trust Fund account	Send us a completed Child Trust Fund application.

Each form shows what further documentation, if any, is required.

IMPORTANT: please note, these details may change from time to time. Actions which may currently only be taken offline may become able to be completed online. This is particularly important if you appoint an agent or SIPP Manager since that person will be authorised to take on your behalf all actions that you can take online.

It is not possible to apply online for a Child Trust Fund, Investment Club, a Company, Joint, Designated or a SIPP Dealing account. You can download the application forms from the Forms section. If you are looking to transfer an account from another broker, you will also find the appropriate form in this section.
