The process entails registering with the appropriate service; Visa, Mastercard or both depending on which cards you use to credit your account with us. Upon registration you'll be given a personal PIN or password to use in confirming the validity of your payment instructions.

Once live on our site you'll find a link to registration is made available as part of the Payments page accessed from 'My Account'; you will only need to register your details once.

You do not need to wait for the facility to become live on our site and, if not already registered with the scheme, you may wish to do so in advance, ready for when you make the first credit payment into your account following its introduction on our site.

The change does not affect any other aspect of crediting your account online by debit card, and you can still call us to arrange a debit card payment too. You can find more details in the Help section of our site.

MasterCard SecureCode enhances your current MasterCard card with a secret code to protect against unauthorised use of your card when you shop online at participating merchants.
