Selftrade Identity Monitor is a powerful service provided by Garlik, designed to help you protect your personal information online from the risk of identity and financial fraud.
The full Selftrade Identity Monitor goes further, also searching publically available web pages, public databases like the Edited Electoral roll and the Royal Mail redirect service. You can register as much of your personal and financial information as you like, and we'll search for high risk combinations of your data that could put you at risk of identity theft and financial fraud.
Whichever level of service you choose, if we find the details you have asked us to monitor have been exposed or compromised, we'll alert you by email with clear advice on what you need to do. There is also ongoing email support to help you take action where necessary.
You must firstly ensure you have an email address registered in your Selftrade account and it is an up to date address. To check/add an email address please log in to your Selftrade account then click admin>my details. Once you have entered the email address ensure you save changes and then you will be able to register for identity monitor.
Click on the Register now link for the level of service you require on the Selftrade Identity Monitor website page. To complete your registration you will need to log on to your Selftrade account if you are not logged in already.
There is an annual fee of £10 (plus VAT).
You can pay for Selftrade Identity Monitor by credit or debit card. The payment is collected by Garlik Ltd who provide the service and your payment will be processed through World Pay.
If you have not made a payment through World Pay before, you will need to register with them to complete the transaction. As soon as your payment is complete, you will be able to access the service through your Selftrade account and add the personal details you would like us to monitor for you.
Please note, the transaction will appear on your statement as Garlik Richmond GB.
You can access the service conveniently through your Selftrade account. Simply log on and click on the Selftrade Identity Monitor tab at the top of the page, then select 'My identity monitor' from the menu. You will be taken directly to your Selftrade Identity Monitor page where you can review and update your details.
To add information or update your details, simply click on the tab showing the type of information you wish to monitor and follow the instructions.
You can cancel your Selftrade Identity Monitor at any time. Simply click on the 'Email us' link within your Selftrade Identity Monitor to send an email requesting the cancelation of your service.
You will receive confirmation by email that your service has been cancelled within two business days.
If you have paid for the service and you change your mind, you can request to cancel your service within 14 days of registration and you will receive a full refund to the card that you paid with.
