Your money

Your money is held securely by us in accordance with the rules of the Financial Services Authority (FSA). It is held in accounts segregated (i.e. identified separately) from Selftrade's own money, and on a statutory trust with authorised banks as may be selected by Selftrade from time to time.

Compensation limit for deposits and investments

The compensation limit under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme for deposits (such as cash) is £50,000.  The limit is £48,000 for investments (such as shares), increasing to £50,000 from 1 January, 2010.
