For accounts available to be opened online, once you’ve made your choice(s), understood the risks and opportunities, checked out our Terms and Conditions and other Important Information, and are ready to go ahead you can be up and running in minutes. Complete your online application and once approved use your debit card to fund your account, up to £11,000 for your initial deposit, and you can make your investment purchases straight away. You’ll then have up to 30 days to complete the final account opening procedures by supplying confirmation of your UK bank account (and any other documentation we may request) before paying-in more than this amount.
For accounts opened offline, you can enclose a personal cheque with your application or, once your account is opened and details provided to you, log-in and use your debit card to credit your account with any amount you wish (subject to any limitations such as apply to Shares ISAs or CTF accounts).
